Basic Electronics

Ohm’s Law a reminder that basic electronic circuits follow Ohm’s Law to some extent.               Ohm’s Law       V=I/R     Ohm’s Law fails when significant temperature changes occur or when certain “non-ohmic” materials are used POWER Power is simply the energy required to do something. If you are moving a large number of electrons and moving them through something that is resistant to that movement, power is used. Power is voltage times current. Power is also voltage squared divided by resistance. In electronics, we use the flow of electrons to drive a variety of processes. P = I x V Power = Watts/time P = V 2 /R Resistors A resistor is a component that resists the flow of current. It's one of the most basic components used in electronic circuits. If you put resistors n

PANASONIC PLASMA TV BLINKING CODES

Panasonic Plasma TVs have built-in fault diagnosing circuit.  If any fault occurs with any circuit board inside, the loaded firmware will detect it and will give you its indication in the form or standby light blinks. From the number of blinks at one time, experienced service technicians can detect the faulty section [circuit board], without opening the TV.  This will help technicians to detect and repair faulty section fast. Here are some hints about the number of blinks to Pansonic Plasma TVs. PANSONIC PLASMA TV:  MODEL NO: X24 _ C2 _ U2 _ S2 _ G20 _  G25 _ VT20 & VT25 Switch ON the set by its main power ON/OFF switch at its front panel [not with remote control], and count the number of blinks occur before the set shuts down. 2 Blinks:   15V SOS D_BOARD / P-BOARD. 3 Blinks:   3.3V SOS D BOARD. 4 Blinks:   POWER SOS P-BOARD. 5 Blinks    5V SOS D-BOARD. 6 Blinks    DRIVER SOS 1 SC BOARD OR D-SC FPC  SC ENERGY RECOVERY CIRCUIT _ D-SC    FPC DET. 7 Blinks:   DRIVER SOS 2 SU-BOARD
